Abhimanyu Dassani plays the lead in the Bollywood drama “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota” (translated to “The Man Who Feels No Pain”), which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival under the Midnight Madness Category in 2018. His role in the drama was the acting debut for the son of Indian actress Bhagyashree. Most recently, Dassani won the award for Best New Young Actor at the 3rd International Film Festival & Awards Macao. This award marks Dassani as the fourth Indian actor ever to receive an award at an international film festival.
