David Bryan “D.B.” WoodsideACTOR

David Bryan “D.B.” Woodside is a film and television actor from Queens, New York whose professional repertoire speaks for itself. He made his acting debut in the TV series Murder One, appearing in 18 episodes in 1996 and 1997. Woodside then appeared in the spinoff Murder One: Diary of a Serial Killer (1997) before making his film debut in Scar City

Also in 1998, Woodside played Melvin Franklin in The Temptations, a TV miniseries about the legendary Motown soul music group. He then appeared in the TV movie After All (1999). Woodside subsequently appeared in the films Romeo Must Die (2000), More Dogs Than Bones (2000), and Flashpoint (2002). 

He then played Martin Mars in the 2003 film Easy, written and directed by Jane Weinstock and starring Marguerite Moreau.

Meanwhile, Woodside appeared in 14 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2002-2003, along with a 2003 episode of CSI: Miami. He subsequently played Wayne Palmer in 48 episodes of the award-winning Fox TV drama 24 between 2003 and 2007.

Woodside also continued appearing in other popular TV series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2004), Viva Laughlin (2007), Grey’s Anatomy (2007), Numb3rs (2008), and Private Practice (2009).  He also appeared in the short film First. (2007) and the feature film Mississippi Damned (2009).

In 2011, Woodside played Carlton Finch in an episode of Charlie’s Angels. He later appeared as Dr. Joe Prestridge in nine episodes of Parenthood in 2011-2012, along with three episodes of Emily Owens M.D. (2013). 

Between 2011 and 2014, Woodside played Malcolm in 37 episodes of the TV series Single Ladies, starring Travis Winfrey, LisaRaye McCoy, and Charity Shea. He also appeared in the TV movie Love the One You’re With (2014), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2015), and The Man in 3B (2015). Following these film appearances, Woodside played Jeff Malone in 16 episodes of Suits from 2014-2018.

More recently, Woodside co-starred with Tom Ellis, Lauren German, and Kevin Alejandro in Lucifer between 2016 and 2021. In 2023, he appeared in six episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star alongside series star and fellow NYFA alum Ronen Rubinstein. Woodside also plays Erik Monks in ten episodes of the TV series The Night Agent and portrays Brian in the film The Perfect Find (2023).
