Gabriella Piazza was a high-ranking member of a New York City startup when she quit her job and pursued acting. Piazza began her own production company and began evening classes with NYFA. The actress is of both Italian and Dominican descent. She recently played mob wife Joanne Moltisanti in The Many Saints of Newark (2021), a prequel to the hit TV series, The Sopranos. The actress grew up on Long Island with a father working in the FBI.
