Giulia BernardiniPRODUCER

Giulia Bernardini is a film and television producer from Rome whose professional repertoire speaks volumes. She made her professional debut as an assistant producer for the 2008 film Tutta la vita davanti. The film (whose title means “Her Whole Life Ahead” in Italian), was directed by Paolo Virzi and stars Isabella Ragonese. Bernardini then attended NYFA New York, graduating from our 1-Year Producing Conservatory program in 2014. The same year, she served as line producer for one episode of the Italian TV series Amore criminale.

In 2015, Bernardini assistant produced What Happened, Miss Simone? The Oscar-nominated documentary notably highlights the life of singer, pianist, and civil rights activist Nina Simone. She then turned her focus to television production in her native Italy, serving as development coordinator for the TV series Suburra: Blood on Rome in 2017. Following her work on Suburra, Bernardini served in the same capacity for the series Gomorrah.  

In 2019 and 2020, Bernardini served as the development executive for the TV series ZeroZeroZero, starring Andrea Riseborough and Dane DeHaan. She subsequently became the delegate producer for ten episodes of the crime drama Masantonio.  Bernardini then served as commissioner and senior creative executive for all eight episodes of the 2022 TV series The Ignorant Angels. The series, originally titled Le fati ignoranti, stars Burak Deniz and Mark Lewis.

More recently, Bernardini served as commissioner and senior creative executive for all eight episodes of Boris (2022). She then assumed the same role for The Good Mothers (2023). Bernardini is currently the commissioner and senior creative executive for The Lions of Sicily, a Disney+ original series originally titled I leoni di Sicilia.

In conclusion, Giulia Bernardini is an accomplished film and television producer with a repertoire that speaks for itself.
