José Val Bal studied at the New York Film Academy in New York City before receiving his MFA in Filmmaking from NYFA’s Los Angeles campus. Most recently, he produced “A Dog Barking at the Moon,” which was nominated for the Berlin Film Festival’s GWFF Best First Feature Award. José began his career as an independent photographer, and his work has been published in Glamour and Lonely Planet, among other publications.
