Lily MalmWRITER | DIRECTOR

The Swedish-born Director and Writer Lily Malm is an alum of NYFA’s BFA in Screenwriting degree program from the Los Angeles campus. Malm is known for her work on the short film Incognito (2017) and her recent feature spec screenplay, Scent of Marigold (2023).

The feature screenplay Scent of Marigold was co-written by fellow NYFA BFA student in Acting for Film Laila Matuk, and received many accolades. The script reached the second round at the 2023 Austin Film Festival, a semi-finalist at the Spring 2023 Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, a quarterfinalist at the 2023 ScreenCraft Drama Competition, and a semifinalist at the 2023 Dallas International Film Festival’s Screenwriting Competition.
