Brazilian Actress Maisa Silva was first discovered in a talent show featuring Raul Gil. In 2007, she was featured on Sistema Brasileiro de Televisao programming, where presented the Sábado Animado Show, Bom dia e Cia, and Carrossel Animado.

Silva was recently cast as the star in a new Netflix original series Back to 15, to be released in February 2022. The show centers around an unhappy 30-year-old who discovers a way to travel back in time to when she was 15 years old.
