Orlando Pineda

Orlando Pineda Actor

Hailing from Colombia, NYFA alum Orlando Pineda is making waves in Hollywood for his starring role in the biopic and Netflix series Griselda. While based on true events, the mini series is a fictional dramatization that follows Griselda Blanco from Medellín to evolving into the “the Godmother” of Miami’s drug empire. Joining forces with the iconic Sofia Vergara, Pineda takes on the role of Dixon, Griselda Blanco’s eldest son.⁣

With credits spanning festival award-winning shorts, television, and film, Pineda’s portrayal of Dixon is his most compelling performance yet. Pineda has also appeared in the television series Narcos: Mexico, as well as the films Your Iron Lady, The Infiltrators, and Lemon Drop. His work of short films include festival favorites such as Rotten Grapes and Summer with Alicia.
