Acting for Film Programs

Build Performance
and Audition Skills at NYFA

In NYFA’s Acting for Film programs, students rapidly gain confidence in front of the camera through hands-on projects and intensive coursework. The one and two-year programs are designed to build on the natural talents of aspiring actors, training them in techniques rooted in the theater but applied to screen acting.

As a result, students learn to work in front of the camera as well as a live audience, learning the tactics necessary to create memorable performances and build their acting reel. Upon graduation, students will earn a college credit-bearing Certificate.
