Legendary actor Anthony Quinn was born in Chihuahua, Mexico during the Mexican Revolution. Quinn spent the early stages of his career mainly playing villains, and won his first Academy Award for his supporting role in the film High Noon. He is best known for his roles in La Strada, Zorba the Greek, Lawrence of Arabia, and Lust for Life. New York Film Academy was honored to have the screen icon as a guest speaker, and students were thrilled to hear stories about his illustrious career.
