Online Acting for Film Workshops

Learn Acting for Film Online at NYFA

NYFA’s Acting for Film School offers a series of online workshops designed to train students in the fundamentals of acting on-camera and auditioning, as well as industry best practices and self-branding guidance. Studying under the guidance of our experienced faculty of professional actors and directors, students receive feedback and creative critique on their craft.

Students also study a number of topics related to filmmaking and acting, including the business of acting. In addition to learning the skills required of an actor, students also build experience in public speaking, presentation, improv, and creative collaboration.

Unlike other online courses, in NYFA’s Hands-Online workshops, you will meet your professors and your classmates in the virtual classroom, share your ideas and collaborate on your projects. This is not just a series of videos to watch and prompts to answer like many other online courses. The NYFA hands-online workshop is a real studio course in the online environment. No prerequisites or prior experience is required to attend.

Online Acting Workshops

To accommodate all schedules, we offer online full-time and part-time acting workshops. Our longer full-time and part-time workshops offer students more exposure to hands-on elements and experience and are recommended for students who wish to complete a variety of projects. Beginners will gain foundational acting skills and knowledge and more advanced students will have the opportunity to refine their craft.
