Online Broadcast Journalism Workshops

Learn Broadcast Journalism at NYFA

NYFA’s Broadcast Journalism School currently offers full-time online workshops designed to introduce students to the modern era of digital journalism. In these workshops, students study remotely under the mentorship of our experienced faculty, and practice research, writing, interviewing, reporting, video and audio recording, editing, as well as producing through hands-on projects.

NYFA also offers an online, week-long workshop for students who want to gain an introduction to digital journalism and podcasting. Unlike other online courses, in NYFA’s Hands-Online workshops, you will meet your professors and your classmates in the virtual classroom, share your ideas and collaborate on your projects. This is not just a series of videos to watch and prompts to answer like many other online courses. The NYFA hands-online workshop is a real studio course in the online environment. No prerequisites or prior experience is required to attend.
