New York Film Academy (NYFA) welcomed Director & NYFA Alum, Kellen Gibbs, as part of our Guest Speaker series moderated by NYFA LA Creative Director of Acting, Lynda Goodfriend.

Since graduating from NYFA’s AFA Filmmaking program in 2015, writer and director Kellen Gibbs’ has been nominated and invited to screen his work in numerous festivals, screening venues, and awards ceremonies, including the 34th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Carmel Film Festival, Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema, the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and Legendary Digital’s Short Ends. His films have received over 40 award nominations.

Tomorrow is his first feature film currently being screened in a number of festivals. For the film, Gibbs collaborated with several NYFA Acting alumni, including Jordan Knapp, Brandon Knabe, Ka’Prise Colvin, Simmie Sangian, Tim Hildebrand, and Diego Medellin.
