Kids Musical Theatre Camp in NYC

In this dynamic one-week camp in New York City, kids aged 10-13 can pursue their interest and passion for musical theatre. During the camp, students will learn acting, movement, and vocal techniques under the guidance of experienced performers. NYFA’s musical theatre faculty have performed in Broadway, off-Broadway or regional shows such as Finding Neverland, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and more.

Program Description

Camp Name: 1-Week Musical Theatre Camp

NYFA’s 1-Week Musical Theatre Camp provides kids with the opportunity to build fundamental performance skills in dance, voice, and acting, working closely with our experienced faculty. Throughout the camp, students study essential performance options and techniques, learning how to nurture their instincts and release their creative impulses. Students also explore new vocal and acting techniques in classes such as Performance Lab and Voice Studio Lab, as well as a Masterclass Q&A.

Prior to attending our camp, students will choose one song from the musical theatre genre they wish to perform. Students must bring their own clothes and shoes (can be sneakers) that are comfortable to dance in.
