Program Description
Program Name: 12-Weekend Acting for Film Camp I for Teens
Hours: 2-6 p.m. in NYC and 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in LA (12 Consecutive Saturdays)
In this hands-on acting workshop, students learn the basics of film acting, such as audition technique and scene study. Through intensive classes and exercises in acting, voice, movement, and improv, students get substantial experience in front of the camera. Under the guidance of professional actors and directors, students learn how to break down physical and internal inhibitions to find the most effective personal sources for the creation of truthful characters.
Students should be prepared to devote additional hours of their own time for rehearsal and preparation. When the workshop ends, students receive a digital copy of their work that is filmed by our faculty and edited by our in-house editors. For graduates, there is a special final screening for family and invited guests.

The 12-Weekend Acting Workshop I is available in New York and Los Angeles during the academic year. At both campuses, students have a unique experience, studying in two of the most significant cities for film and entertainment.
