Learn Basic Acting Skills for Film
In NYFA’s 2-Day Holiday Acting Workshop, students aged 14-17 learn the basics of film acting from professional actors and directors in a supportive, hands-on environment. This is a seasonal program held during the winter break of the academic year. No experience is required to attend.
Program Description
Program Name: 2-Day Holiday Acting for Film Camp for Teens
Hours: 7 Hours per day 10:00 AM – 5:00PM EST and PST with a one hour lunch break.
During this intensive acting workshop, students are immersed in the basics of acting for film, scene study, and audition technique. The rigorous nature of the workshop means that even in this short time, students develop new skills, learning how to present in front of a group, improvise, and receive creative feedback.

In the 2-Day Acting Workshop For Teens, students rehearse and film their scenes against the backdrop of Burbank, CA or Battery Park in New York City.
