In the 3-Week Photography Summer Camp, students are immersed in the art of digital photography. During the program, students aged 14-17 will learn professional techniques from working photographers, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques necessary to research, compose, capture, and refine compelling photos.
Program Description
Program Name: 3-Week Photography Camp for Teens
Aspiring photographers can explore artistic, documentary, journalistic, and commercial subjects in this dynamic photography summer camp at NYFA. Throughout the camp, students will expand their repertoire of techniques with light and shadow using industry-standard lighting, grip hardware, and strobe lighting kits under the guidance of professional photographers. To capture diverse, compelling images, students will take field trips to photograph an infinite variety of locations and subjects. Students will also attend lectures and demonstrations from photographers. By the end of the couse, students will have a body of photographs that reflect their unqiue style.
Students will need to bring their own digital camera with manual exposure control, as well as external storage with at least 500 GB of space.
